This painting, "Blossom", is from a series of abstract floral explorations of the color cell technique on a large scale. It started out as a small doddle during a Zoom conference and once I saw the image on a scratch pad, the idea of the painting took hold. Contrasting color and tonality with solidity of form, the symmetrical rhythm of the petals and leaves is purposefully displayed.
