"Why do I photograph? Because photography is about seeing. Whether you “still yourself until the object of your attention affirms your presence” (Minor White) or recognize “in the fraction of a second, the significance of an event” (Henri Cartier-Bresson). Whatever the circumstance, my intent is to capture an image that will transmit to the viewer my response to the subject.
