Catch A Fire

Serendipities brought me

to a stop at a red light at this particular intersection in San Francisco;

next to a bus stop, where she stood waiting;

on a night where moisture dances across fog vapor and whole droplets;

while a car approaching up a slight hill provides my outdoor studio lighting.

How lucky was I to have my camera within in arms reach in the car?

My Urban Nature Impressionism is often born in the confluence of serendipities such as a frigid and damp night in San Francisco at a bus stop.  My "Catch A Fire" series is imbued with the Caribbean Spirit and culture of my youth transplanted to the city. In the moment, I am enthralled by the beauty of the scene, but in the darkroom, I am drawn by the millions of possible stories she represents.
