Sojourner

Powered by the wind, the "inanimate" seaweed that has been tossed by the waves upon the shore continues its journey. I pause on the beach to contemplate and admire its vibrance as evidenced by its "tracks" in the sand despite being on the surface of the planet instead of its element underwater. I am also reminded of NASA's rover, Sojourner, cast on the surface of Mars by our rockets.  Perhaps this one is an echo of the other.
