I grew up just outside Boston and consider it my home town. With this piece I attempted to capture the complex colors, textures, and and feelings of the place, with Boston Common and the swan-boat rides, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum. (I used to dream of living there.) There is the colonial history, Fenway Park, MIT, and Harvard just across the river in Cambridge. There is also new construction, including skyscrapers which changed the skyline. All in all, an eclectic and lively city. Now living in the SF Bay Area, I miss it.
