"I’ll shoot anything I can get in front of my lens, and if I can get it to splash, even better. I will start with a photograph, and then add or move elements to achieve the final image. I am inspired by everyday objects that can be altered to create a more abstract or surreal scene. My goal is to have an image that the viewer has to look more than once at in order to make sense of it. If they wonder, “How did he do that?” then I have achieved my objective."  Steven Shpall
